The Ragdoll Cat

There is no doubt that Ragdolls are absolutely beautiful cats, and one of a few breeds that seem to get better with age. They are playful with a fun sense of humour. Ragdolls are a very gentle breed that tend to get on well with everything! Their laid back temperament is the hallmark of the breed. They are a large breed, with neutered males weighing in at approximately 12-15lbs and females around 9-12lbs. It has been known for some male neuters to reach 20lbs. It is because of this that it is very important for children  to be taught how to hold them correctly to avoid them being injured. Ragdolls are fully grown when they reach 3-4 years of age. They are an indoor breed due to their nature.

Ragdolls come in 6 colours: Seal, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac, Red and Cream.

They also come in 3 patterns: Colourpointed, Bi-colour and Mitted.

Each colour and pattern can also come in Tortie and Tabby point.
